We offer a phlebotomy (blood test) service at Medway Maritime Hospital and Sheppey Community Hospital for patients who are referred following an outpatient appointment.
Please be aware: our service is for hospital referrals only.
Blood tests at Medway Maritime Hospital
The phlebotomy service offers booked appointments and a limited walk-in service (subject to availability) for referrals made by a hospital consultant, clinician or department.
Opening times: Monday to Friday, 7.10am to 4.30pm (7.10am to 8am is for booked appointments only)
Two appointment clinics are available each week for blood tests for children aged 2 to 16 years’ old.
Wednesday: 8am to 12pm
Thursday: 1pm to 4pm

The phlebotomy service offers booked appointments and a walk-in service (subject to availability) for referrals made by a hospital consultant, clinician or department.
The department is located in the main waiting area, please follow the signs.
Opening times: Monday to Friday, 8am to 2pm.
One appointment clinic is available each week for blood tests for children aged 2 to 16 years’ old.
