Wheelchairs
If you are accompanying a friend or relative to hospital for their appointment and need a wheelchair, you can find these in the wheelchair bay inside the main entrance of the hospital. You will need a £1 coin to use the service, which will be refunded to you when the wheelchair is returned.
At busy times there is limited access to wheelchairs, please allow extra time in case you need to wait.
Helping others
A lack of wheelchairs can have a significant impact on outpatient appointments and inpatient transfers.
Please return any wheelchairs to the hospital main entrance. If you are unable to do so, please let a member of staff or volunteer know.
Thank you.
