If you live in Medway or Swale and are a *member of Medway NHS Foundation Trust, you can now vote for Public Governors to represent your constituency on the Council of Governors.
Governors play a key role in our Trust, providing a link between patients, the community we serve and our Board. Public Governors are elected by Trust members to represent their views and interests. They also ensure that our Board fulfils the requirements of NHS England, and acts in accordance with our objectives.
In the constituency of Medway, there are eight Public Governor vacancies and in the constituency of Swale there are four vacancies. Voting is open until 5pm on Monday 29 April.
We have appointed independent partner Civica to administer the Election to the Council of Governors on our behalf. Voting instructions have been sent by Civica to eligible members either by email or by post. This includes information about how to vote online.
Members who have received their voting instructions by post have the choice of casting their vote by returning the ballot paper by post or casting a vote online. Members who have received their voting instructions by email can cast a vote online only.
You can find information to help you make your choice, including about the nominated candidates, on the election website.
Are you interested in becoming a member? You will receive regular updates from us and have the opportunity to stand as a candidate or vote in future elections for Public Governor.
