The Trust is asking for your views about how you use, or may wish to use digital technology to support your care and experience in our hospital.
We want to deliver high quality care to the population of Medway and Swale, using digital, data and technology to improve safety and efficiency, reduce inequalities and improve access to healthcare.
Our new Digital, Data and Technology Strategy will set out how we plan to do this and will reflect feedback received from all stakeholders through engagement, including our staff, partners, patients and our local population. Taking part in this survey is part of that process.
There are six things we want our new Digital, Data and Technology Strategy to achieve:
- Improve digital culture within the Trust, so staff are engaged and confident to use the tools available to them
- Smart and easy access; making information available at the right time and place for staff and patients
- To ensure data is secure and that staff and patients are confident that information is robustly protected
- To embrace innovation such as Artificial Intelligence, voice recognition, etc to improve services
- To provide solutions and services which are sustainable (which means last the test of time) and efficient
- To be the best we can be with our digital, data and technology, benchmarking against others and NHS England (NHSE) schemes such as the Digital Maturity Assessment.
This short survey is designed to help us understand patient views on digital, data and technology. Please complete the questionnaire.
The survey consists of 12 questions and should take no more than five to 10 minutes to complete. There is an optional section where we ask questions about you. Although this is optional, it would be very helpful if you could complete this section too, as this will help us understand who we have engaged with and identify if there are any groups of people who we need to hear more from.
Please be assured that your responses will be confidential and anonymous.
Please complete this survey by 12pm on Friday 17 November.
Thank you for your time in supporting us with this important process.
