Trust announces appointment of Chief Nursing and Quality Officer

Medway NHS Foundation Trust is pleased to announce the appointment of Jane Murkin as the Trust’s Chief Nursing and Quality Officer following a recruitment process. Jane had previously been in the role in an interim capacity.

Jane has extensive healthcare experience and during her career has held senior nursing and midwifery positions in the UK and Australia.

Jane said: “I am absolutely delighted to be appointed and I look forward to continuing the work to place quality at the heart of nursing care at the Trust.

“Patient safety and quality is essential in making Medway a place where patients receive compassionate care and a first-class experience. Ensuring that this care is of the highest quality and is safe, effective and person-centred will be my relentless focus.”
