To mark World Hepatitis Day later this week, our Gastroenterology and Hepatology Team will be in our main entrance tomorrow (Tuesday 25 July 2023) from 10am to 4pm to increase knowledge and understanding of hepatitis.
NHS England has set a target of eliminating Hepatitis C as a public health concern in England by 2025. The aim is to find, test and treat as many people for Hepatitis C in order to reach this goal.
Together with colleagues from the Hepatitis C Trust, the Team will have leaflets, support and advice about Hepatitis as well as encouraging as many people as possible to be tested.
To aid this, there will be an outreach van opposite Residence 13, near Car Park 2 which will be offering testing facilities during this time.
