Governors play a key role in our Trust, providing a link between patients, the community we serve and our Board. They also ensure that our Board fulfils the requirements of NHS England, and acts in accordance with our objectives.
New Governors will begin their terms on 1 July 2024 for three years. Trust members voted for their chosen candidates between Monday 8 April and Monday 29 April 2024. The election was administered on the Trust’s behalf by independent partner Civica.
At the same time, elections were held for Staff Governors, in which staff members at the Trust voted for five colleagues to represent them on the Council of Governors.
If you are interested in voting in future elections, or would consider standing as a candidate think about becoming a member of our Trust.
