- What technology platform does the Trust currently use to support its Direct Engagement (DE) model for the medical locum workforce? TempRE system
- What is the name of the platform provider? Liaison
- What is the cost of the platform expressed as a percentage fee or pence per hour? Medway NHS regret we are unable to disclose the charges as this is exempt from disclosure under Section 43(2) (Commercial Interests) as disclosure of this information would, or would be likely to, prejudice the commercial interests of any person (including the Trust). The pricing structure is commercially sensitive information that allows suppliers to compete in a competitive market. Disclosure would also be likely to affect the Trust’s ability to negotiate best quality and value. Section 43(2) is a qualified exemption and is subject to the public interest test. We acknowledge the public interest in openness and transparency, but we consider there is a greater public interest in ensuring an ability to obtain best value for money as well as protecting the commercial interests of suppliers to compete fairly in a commercial market. We have therefore concluded that the exemption applies and that withholding the material serves the public interest better than release in this instance.
- What staffing groups does the Trust include in its Direct Engagement (DE) model (e.g., medical, AHPs, clinical, non-clinical)? Medical, AHPs, Scientific & Technical
- What is the current uptake of the DE model within the Trust, specifically as a percentage or proportion of the total locum workforce? 100%
