There is no procurement officer responsible, the Head of Resourcing has overall responsibility for international recruitment of nurses, AHPs and doctors – contact email: Medway.recruitment@nhs.net
2. Outside of Procurement who is the Senior Officer Responsible for International Recruitment For Nurse, Doctors, AHP? and their Contact details?
Sarah Vaux, Interim Chief Nurse is responsible for nursing and AHPs.
Alison Davis, Chief Medical Officer is responsible for doctors.

3. Additionally, what is the budget allocated for international recruitment for the financial year 2025/26 for Nurse, Doctors, AHP? Who is the responsible officer to allocate this budget?
The budgets for 2025/26 have not yet been agreed – we are in the process of business planning currently.

General Nurse: 122 (this is all registered nursing and midwifery staff)
Mental Health Nurses: 0
AHP: 24
Doctors: 0
5. During the financial year 2023/24, which international recruitment partners did the trust use, if any? Who are they planning to use for 2025/26? Who is the responsible officer who decides this?
No agencies were used for the recruitment of international nurses, midwives or AHPS. Agencies used for the recruitment of doctors would have included Doctor Relocate, BMS, AllDoctors.
6. How many international Doctors/Nurse/AHP did the trust receive in the financial year 2023/24?
International recruits during 2023/24:
- AHPs – 13
- Nurses/midwives – 127
- Unfortunately we do not have details of the number of international doctors recruited for this period
7. What was the international recruitment spend by Doctors/Nurses/AHP by the trust for the financial year 23/24? There was no agency spend for nursing and AHP. In relation to spend for doctors the spend was £59,600.
