All costs associated with changing the terminology for junior doctors to “resident doctors” within your NHS Trust.
Currently no costs identified due to the change in terminology. Resident doctors refers to a group rather than individual grades, which remain the same. NHS Employers have not advised of any changes to national templates.
Specifically, I request the following information:
1. Total expenditure to date associated with changing the terminology for junior doctors to “resident doctors” within your NHS Trust. This should include, but is not limited to:
- Costs associated with updating internal documents, policies, and systems. N/A
- Costs of staff training or communication initiatives related to the change. N/A
- Costs of any external consultancy or support sought for this purpose. N/A
2. An estimate of any further costs that the Trust anticipates incurring in relation to this change in terminology. Please provide a breakdown of these projected costs. N/A
